Stay Frydrated!
To help make McDonald’s a “beverage destination” and steal share from convenience stores, we leveraged our proprietary fries and encouraged everyone to “fight defrydration” by pairing those fries with one of our 40+ beverages. RADIO
We produced 4 hard working radio spots that seeded the term frydrate, described the new drinks for the summer, and drove people to our website to get free fries with purchase of a McCafe beverage. Here's an example:
TELEVISION
We didn't have a lot of money for TV so we shot an impromptu spot in literally 20 minutes while we were shooting something else. We then created animated :15s highlighting our featured summer beverages to rotate into the mix.
